The more you craft lanterns, the more passionate you become.
This Hanji lantern was created for the Bucheon Robot Culture Lantern Festival, and it features Selly, the only female character among Robot Trains' main cast: Kay, Alf, Duck, and Selly.
Her design was inspired by the Paris street tram, giving her a sleek and modern look. Alongside Kay, Selly plays a key role in battling the dark forces and saving her village, appearing in many critical moments throughout the series.
“You’ll grow stronger with every effort you give!”
Selly is known for being not only the fastest and smartest train, but also the only female lead—making her the heart of the Robot Trains.
With brilliant ideas and common sense that earn her the title of “Train World's Genius,” she is a bold and charming character, especially loved by young girls.
As a skilled software engineer, Selly can create and repair all kinds of programs and systems. She uses tools like Becky Scanning, a function of her assistant train, Becky, to repair and support the entire train team.
She’s the brain behind the machines, combining intelligence, heart, and strength in one powerful character.
