Kung Fu Panda is a 3D animated film produced by DreamWorks Animation and released in 2008. The movie follows the story of Po, a plump and lovable panda who learns kung fu and ultimately defeats evil enemies. Known for its exciting and comedic kung fu action sequences, the film premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival. It was directed by Mark Osborne and John Stevenson, and distributed by Paramount Pictures.
The main character, Po, lives in the Valley of Peace, helping his father run a noodle shop. Although he initially lies to avoid going against his father’s wishes, he eventually embraces his destiny and becomes the legendary Dragon Warrior through kung fu training.
While Po is the heart of the story, the wise and strict Master Shifu plays a critical role as his kung fu mentor, guiding him with discipline, doubt, and eventually, pride.
